Hello,
So it turns out I've kind of got addicted to this digital painting lark so I've decided to create a new account for all my illustration work. You can find it here --> RowenaJames.

Hooked on Painting

So I've been on and off this site for the past 6 years, and for the most part my focus has been photography. Now don't get me wrong, I still love photography, and you can still expect to see new photos on here, but over the last 6 months or so I've started playing around with a wacom tablet and I have to admit, I'm slightly hooked. I've always loved drawing, but with digital painting, although so many of the essential drawing skills are still important, I feel like I'm learning all over again, and there's something slightly addictive about that feeling of discovering new techniques and pushing the boundaries of what I thought I could do.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is that for the moment you'll probably start seeing a lot more digital painting than photographs. Although I have to say, it's amazing how much of the theory behind photography and making great pictures, that I've found myself falling back on in my new digital adventure

Summer and Features

Buuuut, things finally seem to be settling down again and the last few weeks I've had chance to catch up on doing some of the things I love doing, including a bit of traditional art, which I haven't done for aaaaages! And I've got the rest of the summer to carry on doing all those things

I'm back! 
Well, it's been a while, and last time I was on here was before I went on holiday, which was only for a week, but from when I got back I've just been so busy, this is the first real chance I've had to come on! 
Anyway, I've finally got myself organised (sort of
) so over the next weeks I'm hopefully going to be get going again, although it could take a while so please bear with me! I've got loads of photos from my holiday, which I'm still going through, and I'm really looking forward to having a chance to work on them, so some of those should be appearing gradually I'm also looking forward to having a chance to look at the work in my inbox, although with the number that have built up in the time way, I don't think it's going to be possible to see all of them, but I'll do the best that I can!
